July 2023: Time to Start Following My Own Star

It has been a long time since my last update. Life happened, but writing was never far off my mind, or my hand.

After a year of trials, changing homes and countries, switching jobs and careers, I can now focus on my author career, and make it a priority. Thank you; you must be applauding my decision just as I did. I even celebrated by watching a cozy mystery.

I’d like to take you with me on my writing journey. Yesterday, I finished a new manuscript. This draft needs editing, of course, but I enjoy the story, especially the end. I forced my sister to sit and not move until I read it to her. The ending, I mean. I love my sister. I wouldn’t want to torture her and force her to listen to a first draft reading.

Now that my newborn manuscript is in the capable and trustworthy hands of my editor, Alice Sudlow, I will tackle another story that needs a complete rewrite.
