September 2023: ‘Believing Is Seeing’ Is the New Saying
It’s September! Happy Birthmonth to my Canadian cousin! Last month’s plan didn’t work out the way I thought it would. As they say, you either win or learn…
Learning from Life’s Twists and Turns
It has been a year already since I moved out of the place I’ve been living in for more than a decade.
This year, full of changes, twists, and turns, made me realize that anything is possible and that change can happen in a second. One day I was sitting on my couch in Pennsylvania, and a minute later I was packing a suitcase and hopping on a plane, never to come back to that home. It wasn’t my plan when I left, that’s for sure. I’m just glad I had the presence of mind to finish the laundry before leaving.
So, this little anecdote brings me to my September motto, ‘Believing is Seeing’ is the new saying. I now decide to believe that anything is possible. There are no dreams too big to believe in. It brings hope and wonder to life. Following this philosophy, I get more done and already see results.
In last month’s update, I talked about the High-Vibe Experiment. Although I couldn’t follow it through the entire month, the times I was doing it did make me feel better. On a happier note, I’m glad to say I kept up with my happy author persona.
Finding the Fun
We should also remember to do something fun once in a while. My author friend, Denise Weiershaus, shared an Acrostic Poem where she defines her first name. “Acrostic Denise,” she called it. I enjoyed the idea, but since I’m not great at self-appreciation and self-complimenting, I wondered if Friend ChatGPT would be kinder to me. So I asked it to give me an acronym for my first name.

Here is the answer:
“Hello, Soleah! It’s great to meet you. Creating an acronym for your name, Soleah, with each letter standing for something, can be a fun and creative exercise.
Spiritual: You have a deep connection to matters of the spirit and inner growth, valuing a sense of purpose and meaning in life.
Optimistic: Your optimistic outlook on life helps you maintain a positive attitude, even during challenging times.
Loving: Your loving nature is evident in the way you care for and show affection to those around you.
Empathetic: Your empathetic nature allows you to understand and connect with others on a deep emotional level, showing compassion.
Authentic: You are authentic in your actions and words, staying true to yourself and your values, without pretense.
Heartfelt: Your words and gestures are always heartfelt, reflecting your sincerity, genuine emotions, and deep caring for others.
These words collectively describe your personality as ‘Soleah,’ emphasizing your spiritual and loving nature, among other positive qualities.“
Nice, right? I love it, so I’ll keep it for now. Do you have an anecdote that pushed you to see life differently? Don’t hesitate to share it with me; I’d love to hear it.
So during this time, don’t forget to be kind to yourself, and don’t forget the fun in life!
Until next time, read and succeed,
